Irelyn Cargill is a high-school senior and a two-year member of the Joyce B. Ebner Volunteer Tutoring Program. Upon graduation, her goal is to attend college to further her entrepreneurial studies.

Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky but raised in Medina, Irelyn was named after the hospital she was born in—Ireland Army Community Hospital.

Watching her parents’ acts of selflessness, hard work and generosity has inspired this young teen to do the same. She understands that many in her community lack the basic necessities for everyday life and this fuels her desire for change.

When not giving back to the community you can find Irelyn on the tennis court, watching a reality tv show, near a horse stable, or even in the kitchen whipping up some pasta.
